Colors Of The Canyon
A snappy from my visit to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Oh! I so wished I at least had a medium format. Instead, I was armed with my Ricoh GX200.
Tried to make the most of the shot in LightRoom. Hope you guys like it. 🙂

The mju is a point and shoot with excellent optics in a compact body. Great for toting around and not having to worry about breaking it (as opposed to a Leica, Hexar, etc). The shots look pretty decent, and if you want to enjoy the process of film even more, consider developing the film on your own. It’s not difficult, and you can get the developer and fixer from Salam Studios in Wafi City for around AED40-70 a bottle, and they’ll last you a pretty long time – developer is usually one-use, but fixer can be reused for 2-3 times. Salam doesn’t have very good developing tanks, so I would recommend the excellent Paterson tanks with the 3-reel setup. The stop bath and wetting agent are usually optional, though I would recommend using a stop bath if only to get more mileage out of your fixer 🙂
